Adinah Miller
Tivnu: Building Justice Program Director
Portland, Oregon
Adinah Miller is the program director of Tivnu: Building Justice. Adinah has been professionally and personally engaged in creating diverse and vibrant Jewish communities for many years. Most recently, Adinah spent six years as Dean of Jewish Life, Jewish Studies teacher, and house parent at the American Hebrew Academy, the pluralistic Jewish boarding high school in Greensboro, North Carolina. At AHA, she helped high school students lay strong foundations in Jewish thought, practice, and history on which they could build Jewish identities, lives, and futures. Before moving to Greensboro, Adinah did graduate studies in Italian Jewish history and co-founded GradJew@Yale, a community of Jewish grad and professional students in New Haven, Connecticut. Adinah is excited to bring her experience in formal and informal Jewish education and her passions for social justice and Jewish exploration to Tivnu. She, her husband David, and their son are excited to have made Portland their home.
