How Do We Reach the 90% of Jewish Kids Who Don't Attend Camp?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In the 1960's when Jewish overnight camp was booming, the world was a very different place. In America today, we are confronted with a 58% intermarriage rate (up from 17% in 1970), challenging financial circumstances, a wide variety of alternate ways for families to spend the summer. In this session we will understand why we must invest in new approaches to camp that acknowledge the realities facing today's diverse Jewish families. You will also hear how Atlanta's In the City Camp is delivering the outcomes of overnight camp in an affordable, accessible, day camp package.
