Be the Trend: Food Values in Action
Limited Capacity seats available

How are Jewish camps responding to modern day issues such as factory farming and food waste? We’ll learn about fun and interactive ways to start a conversation about food values at camp, and hear about the innovative ways some camps are already putting these values into action. You will gain tools for applying traditional Jewish insights to contemporary communal life through the lens of Jewish animal and sustainability ethics. Together we’ll explore how Judaism can empower us to be a truer version of ourselves during and beyond the summer.

Can you update our session description with the line: We will hear from representatives of Eden Village Camp, Ramah in the Rockies, and Camp Zeke about their food practices
