Dr. Keren Fraiman is Dean and Chief Academic Officer at Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership, an educational consultant at the iCenter, and has managed the development of Approaching Conflicts. Keren was a post-doctoral fellow at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism and has taught courses on Middle East Politics and Israel at DePaul and The Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. Keren received her PhD in International Relations and Security Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her B.A. in Political Science and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago. Her work has been supported by the United States Institute of Peace, the Chicago Project on Security and Terrorism, and the American-Israel Cooperative Enterprise. Additionally, Keren is a past Schusterman Israel Scholar, has worked at the Crown Center for Middle East Studies at Brandeis University and also served as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces. She is married to Eitan and they have three incredibly joyful children.
